NAN reports that Dahiru was endorsed unopposed at the party’s primaries held in Yola. Addressing supporters at the event, the party Chairman, Mallam Saidu Bobboi, lauded members of the party for the peaceful conduct of the primaries.
Bobboi urged for mass mobilisation for the party’s candidate, adding that it would not align with any party but would try its luck at the polls.
Dahiru expressed gratitude to supporters for giving him the opportunity to be their flag bearer and promised not to disappoint the electorate in meeting the challenges.
Dahiru urged the electorate not to sell their votes but to vote for a candidate that would attract the needed transformation to the state.
“It is now time for our people to avoid the so called big political parties who had failed to change our fortunes.
“Give us your votes and you will see the difference. We have no money to offer but we have the heart for selfless service,” Dahiru said.
