Today  I watched the live burial ceremony of the late Dora Akunyili and I was almost in tears as her husband and Goodluck Jonathan said wonderful and selfless
things about the late former DG of NAFDAC.
There was also a tribute held yesterday Monday 25th August 2014 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja for her.

Guests at the event were Onyeka Onwenu, Chris Ngige, and Oby Ezekwesili among others.
After the service, her body will be taken to her family home in Enugu for activities that will conclude on Wednesday.

Her body will later be taken to her husband’s house in Agulu, Anambra for another round or activities.
She will be buried on Thursday 28th August 2014.
