Oluwajuwon ‘Jaywon’ Iledare, OluSegun ‘Lord of Ajasa’ Osaniyi , Olalekan Tunde ‘LKT’ Olayade were the cynosure of all eyes at the just concluded Ladoke Akintola University Students’ Union Week in Ogbomosho Friday 2nd October 2015.
The event which took place at Lautech main campus, Ogbomosho saw J L Wise Music and Alapomeji Records newly signed artistes Outrageous Damilare Abdulganiu and Tunde Fasasi opening the show. They dazzled the crowd with their unique song, ‘I beg Sir’. Crowd kept asking for more before they left the stage.
Easy Plus Ezekiel Omowunmi Funsho mounted the stage with his current song, ‘Bariga Layewa’ and Area.
L K T stormed the stage with his popular song, Follow Follow. His brilliance performances followed by Ejo and Buga his newly released song.
This Year crooner, Jaywon who was later introduced showed great dexterity on stage with his song. He dazzled with Gbon Gbbon Gbon,and Madantin respectively.
Lefenu so exponent, Lord of Ajasa firstly announced that all the crowd should bring out 9ice posters for House of Representatives if truly they supported him. The crowd responded positively. He later performed his hit song, Lefeno so which he featured 9ice years back.
More so, the President of Students’ Union Government Lautech, Areo Ajibola Oyegoke, he said that this is the time a youthful person will come out to contest for an elective position in Ogbomosho. And we have to show our support in order to protect our future in the House of Representatives 2015.
“Ogbomosho youths alongside Lautech SUG are in support for Adegbola Akande ‘9ICE’ Abolore to contest for House of Representatives in 2015. This is the period a youthful person will contest for House of Representatives in Ogbomosho. That is why we are supporting him. We want to encourage other youthful people in Ogbomosho to contest for elective positions in order to represent and protect the youths of this town. We are tired of endless promises from politicians who don’t recognize the youths of Ogbomosho talk less of carrying us along in their policies. Our future is now but nottomorrow. We believe in 9ice for the fact that he has us in his programmes. And we are ready to support him totally”, the President of SUG Lautech , Areo Ajibola Oyegoke said while addressing the youths alongside press men in Ogbomosho.
Ogbomosho Youths Leader, Mr. Fagbemi Abiola added that we are behind 9ice because he has shown us that he has the charisma to lead the youths of Ogbomosho to the promise land in the future.
9ice later mounted the stage to address Ogbomosho Youths and Lautech students that their destiny is their hands.
“Our future is now. There must be a change. And the change is the youths of Lautech and Ogbomosho. We have programmes to build hostels, transportation system for students, youths empowerment and others. We need to open our eyes”, he said while addressing the youths.
