Afro Hip-Hop singer Anthony Emeka Ezenwa popularly known as Tony Yankee from Nwangele LGA Imo State, a graduate of Samuel Adegboyega University Ogwa, Edo State(Studied Computer Science).
Tony Yankee has been singing since 2002, after he dropped his 1st Album titled "I do street Music" in 2007 which made lots of wave and got him nominated for the "Legend in the Making Award".
Since then Tony Yankee has kept on in the hustle of his music career despite his uneasy school activities.
However, Tony Yankee has come back now with a new hit single titled "Piritunu" featuring Izee(Formerly LIC Finest). According to Tony Yankee 'Piritunu' means "Have a taste of good life". It is an Igbo Slogan, produced by Dimz on the beat.
Moreover, he said "Listening to Oliver D Coque, Osadebe and Sir Warrior when I was little motivated me to come out with the concept 'Piritunu'".
